Facebook appears to be on the fast lane and wants to host your next video call with its video calling in Messenger. You can have face-to-face conversations with your friends and the people you care about, via Messenger, just like you would do on Skype, Google Hangouts and Facetime.

For Android developers: Facebook launches three new Open-Source tools


As part if its F8 event exhibition line-up, Facebook today, released three new open source tools for Android developers. The first is a performance segmentation library called Year Class that is meant to help developers quickly figure out what kind of device a user is running.

Google’s Classroom education initiative launched just about half a year ago, but it’s been web-based until now. Today, Classroom apps for iOS and Android was launched. This however, should help build on the existing 30 million assignments that have been submitted via the platform since its debut.

Samsung Launches Its First Tizen OS basedPhone, The Z1, In India For $92



Samsung has finally launched its first phone powered by the Tizen operating system. The Samsung Z1 is coming to India initially, where it is available to buy for 5,700 INR — that’s around $92 — from today.
