Could this be the new iPad?

It's just days before Apple announces it's new iPad model and images and rumors are already making their rounds on the internet on how the device could look like, as well as some new features.
The speculations suggests that the new tablet measures at 7mm thin—roughly the same thickness as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and 0.5 millimeter thinner than last year's iPad Air.

The pictures also show off a Touch ID sensor around the tablet's home button, a feature that was missing from the model introduced last October.
