Black Friday, as the name sounds, is not a bad day. It is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States (the fourth Thursday of November), often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. This doesn’t make it a holiday.
The name originated in Philadelphia, where it was originally used to describe the dense pedestrian and vehicular traffic which occurs on the day after Thanksgiving.

Black Friday is a time customers look up to because of the high rate of discounts (which are not offered at other times) being offered to them by different stores on products purchase. Different products are always available on sale ranging from Personal Products to Home Electronics. 

This year, 2014, Black Friday falls on November 28th.

Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday after Thanksgiving in the United States. The term "Cyber Monday" was created by marketing companies to persuade people to shop online. The term made its debut on November 28, 2005, in a Shop.org press release entitled "'Cyber Monday Quickly Becoming One of the Biggest Online Shopping Days of the Year"

This year, 2014, Cyber Monday will fall on December 1, and get ready for all of the best online deals after Black Friday, buying from the comfort of your own home.

Many stores and hypermarkets open their doors almost dawn offering special deals, discounts and promotional gifts.

Many stores offer Black Friday deals in the United States and since the inception of this day of shopping, many shopping stores have also joined in the trend with Nigeria’s own Jumia Online Shops offering Black Friday deals.
