Samsung officially announces super thin Samsung Galaxy A8

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A8 for China. The A8 is 5.9mm thick, and features a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. It comes in three colour variations-white, black, and gold, and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

With 2GB of RAM and a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, the Galaxy A8 comes in either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable with a microSD card. The phone also has a 16MP rear camera, along with a 5MP front-facing camera. Samsung has also included a fingerprint sensor, which will let you unlock your screen, make payments, and more, all with a finger. With the 3050mAh battery, Samsung is claiming a standby time of 304 hours.

Currently, the Galaxy A8 is only being offered in China at the moment.
